Whenever you think of Japanese food, you think it’s expensive. However, it's also scrumptious. Japanese taste for food is evolving and they keep on trying to invent new ingredients so customers will keep on coming to their restaurant.
But wait.... there is a new Japanese fast food restaurant around Cebu City. SAMURAI CURRY, located at 79 Don Gil Garcia St., just 1 block from 7-Eleven, at the back of AVON.
When I went to the restaurant, these are the factors that I’ve observed.
- Price
The price is very affordable. Each menu is less than Php100.00

Taste
I have been to Japan and tried authentic food there. I must say that Japanese food is one of the best in the world. When it comes to Samurai Curry, they made ingredients mixed with Japanese and Filipino flavor. They prepare their food based from their own homemade recipes.
I would recommend you to try their best seller, “Japanese Curry”. I think the taste is the same with what I’ve tried in Japan. The rice is a little sticky which is based from Japanese traditional way of cooking. Although, for Japanese they might think it’s different from Japan, however, I think Filipinos would really love it.

Ambience
It’s not that big but it is very cozy for me. It can accommodate at least thirty (30) customers. If you look at from the outside, you might be curious. But once you get inside, you would feel comfortable because it’s clean and cool.

Service
Though it’s not really same with Japanese “OMOTENASHI”, but they value time. Customers don’t really need to wait that long. I must say it’s better than other restaurants.
Over all, I would recommend this restaurant to group of friends, university students, call center agents, family and their children. If you value for money and looking for food that satisfies your hunger, then you must try SAMURAI CURRY.
